The owners were incredibly kind and helpful, always available to answer our questions and flexible with the check-in policy. The hostel's chill room and convenient location near the lake, bus station, and supermarket were definite pluses. We would definitely return to this hostel and highly recommend it!

The only thing that could have made the breakfast offerings better was if there was a kitchen or a common room to prepare and enjoy our meals. However, the lady running the hostel was very accommodating and allowed us to use the basement facilities and eat on the terrace of another room.

The hostel I stayed at during my city break exceeded my expectations. The location was perfect, only a short walk away from the main attractions. Some aspects of the hostel were not so great. The walls were thin which meant that noise from the hallways and kitchen could be heard from the rooms.

We loved Hostel Joya, Lake Bled's beautiful scenery, and the convenience of having bikes to explore. The property was well-maintained, with great common areas. Karmen and Bien were incredibly helpful and responsive. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and the location was convenient for shopping and visiting the lake.

The room was cosy with plenty of closet space, and the shared kitchen was big, clean, and had a nice big fridge freezer. The owner was very accommodating and offered a taxi service. The location was convenient, just a 5-minute walk to the beautiful city center at the shore of the lake. Karmen, the host, was friendly and helpful. The hostel had a common area in the basement and provided lots of information on local activities such as hiking, cycling, and fishing. Finally, the hostel had free W-Fi, a dryer, an electric kettle, and well-equipped kitchen utensils. Pets were not allowed, and they offered a paid airport shuttle.
